Art in Punk
After nearly a year of hesitation and lukewarm feelings, I finally took the plunge and committed to Pink Flag, the seminal debut album by the (art) punk band Wire. I was initially just a fan of the last song from the album, 12XU, which is the most aggressive and straight-ahead punk song on the album. After six months or so, I then picked up Ex Lion Tamer. After that it was Dot Dash, which somehow didn't make the original cut of the album. Then it was Three Girl Rhumba, and by that time I just had to download the whole album.
Listen to Ex Lion Tamer. If you like that, then do yourself a favor and grab the whole album. Trust me.
